But remember: God doesn’t sleep. He’s been working while they were plotting. You may feel like you’re behind, but with God, you are never too late, too small, or too unprepared.
The Real Enemy Might Be Within
Sometimes it’s not other people who sabotage our progress—it’s ourselves.
The internal enemy shows up as:
- Negative self-talk
- Doubt that God is really working
- Fear of failure or rejection
- Bad habits we refuse to break
- Delayed obedience, which is still disobedience
Recognize those enemies. And then resist them.

The Word says in Ephesians 6:11, "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." That means every single day, especially today, you must prepare yourself with:
- Prayer – Your direct line to strength
- Faith – Even when things look dark, believe anyway
- Truth – Stand in what God says, not what the world says
- Peace – Don’t let the chaos around you steal your calm
- The Word of God – Your weapon and defense

The plans that were formed against you will fail. The people who counted you out will watch you rise. Even your own past cannot stop the purpose God has placed on your life.

Because what was meant to destroy you… God will use to build you.
